Amazing experience! Get up close with incredible wildlife while supporting a fantastic and impactful conservation effort. Eduardo and his team gave us a memorable tour to see jaguar and puma at night and a day tour explaining the wildlife preservation efforts in the area. We further saw anteaters, tigrillos, and parrots up close. No frills, delicious food and reasonable portions. The food is served in a common dining area under a palapa. The rooms/cabins are simple, but clean and come with a fully equipped bathroom and shower.

We had an amazing experience here. We were able to park our RV outside and stay in a very nice bungalow for one night. The stay included a tour (in English) and another night tour to see the animals being fed. It was a fantastic experience to see a jaguar, puma, ocelot and other animals. This is a sanctuary for unwanted pets and all money goes towards rehabilitating animals for the wild. They had a very nice restaurant and service was excellent. My children absolutely adored this visit.

What a great experience this was! Both our hosts Alejandro and Mariana gave us an amazing time in this special park. We had the glamping tent for four nights and I am glad we did. Both breakfast and dinner is included in the price and every night you get something new on your plate. The day and night tours through the animal sanctuary are a must. It is great to hear how they saved these animals and take great care of them. You can easily fix this with your hosts. Showers and bathrooms were really clean. Which is always great! From this park we did amazing tours to Micos waterfall and Tamul waterfall. We had a great time here

This place is beautiful. This is a rescue place for local animals which provide good information and history of the park and the animal residents. The food is delicious and the rooms are beautiful should you choose to stay.

This is a great place to bring kids to meet these little animals… Anteaters are frequent visitors, and both babies and adults can see them… It was the first time I'd ever heard of anteaters climbing trees . I must mention: the food at this hotel is absolutely delicious… the kids loved it, and the service was incredibly friendly! I highly recommend the dinner and breakfast… they can make meals according to your requests, which is very thoughtful.

I was at Selva Teenek Ecopark with my friend and my little daughter. Everyone was really nice and friendly and they even changed the dinner and breakfast times so that it fit for us. The food was delicious. They showed us the animals living in the ecopark for free and explanaied a lot. I will defintely come back to this place and can highly recommend it.

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Selva Teenek, I knew I was in for something special. Frida, Eduardo, and Martha curated one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made me feel right at home. The food deserves its own standing ovation. Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay, and every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully unique. Each breakfast came with fresh juice and my personal favorite, a steaming cup of café de olla. Dinners were equally unforgettable, the perfect end to each adventure-filled day. The cabins are a dream blend of rustic charm and modern comfort: air conditioning, a standing fan, hot showers, and cozy beds all wrapped in a unique eco design that feels perfectly in tune with the surrounding jungle. And then there is the heart of the hotel, animal conservation. Hotel Selva Teenek is home to rescued wildlife, including a majestic cougar, a powerful puma, and several playful anteaters. Knowing my stay directly supported their care and protection made the experience even more meaningful. If you are looking for an eco-hotel that combines outstanding hospitality, delicious food, comfortable lodging, and a genuine commitment to wildlife conservation, this is it. I cannot recommend it enough.
